For Habitare 2016, designer Hannu Kähönen was showing series of sleek, black floating chairs made for VR entertainment. Perfectly weighted, the chairs were designed for effortless 360 degree rotation. The long presentation space where visitors were invited to try using them wanted something that evoked motion, but provided a silly counterpoint to the minimalist designs.

MorrowSound installed three dimensional tunnel of speakers in the large space and endlessly floated rings of multichannel audio from one end of the room to the other, like a barber's pole. Otherworldly ambient layers crossed paths with forests and jungles and were in turn overtaken with the sounds of turn of the century amusement: orchestrion, hurdy gurdy, and automatic organs.
