Steelcase wanted to activate their lobby as a public exhibition space. They were hoping to demonstrate the company's holistic, forward-thinking approach to designing for daily life and also to spark conversations about the brand's principal interests: bolstering well-being and emotional health at home, at work, and in public spaces.
Steelcase and MorrowSound co-presented the exhibition Sensations: Sound Color Light. Three dimensional sound, colored objects, video monitors and colored lighting filled the lobby in a presentation that felt both playful and urgent. MorrowSound produced narrative soundscapes and videos for the show that explored how technologies impact design, and how design impacts well being.
